Dementia Map members are now eligible to join OPEN MIC on Alzheimer’s Speaks. This allows our members to feature their dementia services, products, tools, research, and advocacy programs. Or maybe a member would like to have a discussion about the good, the bad, the ugly, and the joy they see when caring or in the industry in general.

Mark Your Calendars With The OPEN MIC Dates And Times For 2026

OPEN MIC Recordings typically take place on Tuesdays, at the following times:

2 pm EST – Eastern                               1 pm CST – Central

12 pm MST – Mountain                         11 am PST – Pacific

What To Expect

  • We prerecord each show typically on the 3rd Tuesday. of each month.
  • All OPEN MIC shows are video recordings.
    • Please know we never know how many people will join each show until the last minute.
    • Depending on the number of guests, the allotted time to speak will vary from show to show.
    • You can SIGN UP for an OPEN MIC date here.
  • We suggest you have a well-defined topic you would like to share with the audience.
  • Make sure you have all of the contact information you want to share with the listeners.
  • Shows typically air the following week.
    • You will be notified when your show is published.
    • You will be sent graphics for the show you appear on.
    • You will be sent a variety of social media links where you can find the show you were on.
  • You are welcome to download the show to make reels or shorts.
    • You are not authorized to upload the full or majority of the show to your YouTube, Vimeo, Podcast, or any other social media platform.
    • For the full show, it’s best to reshare the social media links we give you so you don’t get penalized by the various social media enforcers.

Sign Up for A Featured Show, Which Gives You 60 Minutes To Highlight Your Work!

For a more in-depth show, sign up for one of our hour-long shows. This way, you will have plenty of time to cover a variety of services, products, to tools you have to support both families and professionals dealing with dementia. On these shows, you can even have a panel to support you and give our audience perspectives to hear.

 

Recordings typically take place on Tuesdays, at the following times, and air the following Tuesday or Thursday at 1 pm CT

2 pm and 3:15 pm EST – Eastern

1 pm and 2:15 pm CST – Central

12 pm and 1:15 pm MST – Mountain

11 am and 12:15 pm PST – Pacific
